Over the years I have adopted a regular range of colours based around, what is known as the "Ballinger Palette". Basically, a warm and cool of each primary colour. Throw in the odd colour here and there for certain subjects like flwoers or a particular item of clothing and using colour becomes a whole lot easier to use. With upto 100 colours in certain ranges this is a big help as we hardly need to use every colour going. Having all this colour at our disposal is a dilemma when faced with the monotony of greens during the summer. We have to work hard to say someting beyond the obvious but not to go too far in being creabive.
